Turning 2!

Happy 2nd Birthday to Miss Em!! 

Some of Em's happenings to update you on...

**Stats Update**
Height:  32.5" (16%)
Weight:  24.8 lbs (20%)
Head: 47.6 cm (52%) - last time to measure her head!
Words - mommy, daddy, Grady, /K/ for Aunt Kelly, fish, cupcake, milk, please, thank you, dog, cat, car, truck, NO!, cup, plate, yogurt, cracker, cheese, dog...and the list goes on and on - she says more and more words each and every day - we will definitely have another talker on our hands.

Clothes - some 18 month clothes and some 24 month/2T clothes; still wearing size 3 diapers; size 5-6 in shoes.  Her 2 year well-baby check-up isn't for a few days, so we are all interested to hear if she broke the 22 lb. mark.  She loves her clothes and her shoes.  If she has to change her outfit during the day for whatever reason, she gets mad, as she has grown attached to the outfit of the day.

Likes to have her hair combed and braided.

Is starting to love on her baby dolls more (she has 2).  Other than that she plays with the Legos, the play kitchen, Play-doh, trains (pretty much anything her brother is playing).

She can be stubborn (see potty training comment below) and sweet.  You know right away by looking at her if you will get a "welcome" greeting or a "get out of here" greeting.  She has such an independent personality, which is also frustrating sometimes.  Often times you can find her picking up my toys or my clothes-she is also very good at following directions.

Not yet potty trained.  We have the books and have been reading them and on occasion she will poop or pee on the potty, but not regularly.

Books - she loves to read books and have books read to her.  She doesn't care if they are my Lego books or her girly books. 

Her two favorite things are her blanket and her cup (usually filled with milk).

Loves her bath - if she hears you talking about it, she runs in and starts the water.  She also really likes swimming in her little swimming pool and at the public pool. 

Speaking of baths, most nights she requires a cleaning - she looks like she has rolled around in the dirt outside several times.  She plays hard outside and doesn't care.  She runs with the big boys (her cousins) and keeps up.  Right now we have several rabbits in our yard-she loves to watch them and chase after them.
