| The big Boom Truck! |
Over the weekend (on the day it was supposed to be over 106 degrees), Grandpa Larry brought his boom truck over with some concrete pavers to give us a larger patio area in the back yard. Uncle Caleb was home for a couple of days, so daddy took advantage of his help. The boom truck arrived while I was still in bed, but I quickly bounced out of bed, downstairs and out the door when I heard it was here!
Grandpa Cary helped Grandpa Larry get the pallets on the lift and then Grandpa Larry used a remote control (which I thought was WAY COOL!) to move the lift to drop the pavers where we needed them. Then daddy and Uncle Caleb moved them around. Grandpa Larry had a diagram indicating where each paver should go. Daddy added some sand to fill between the pavers.
And this is the end product - not too bad! Now the grills have a home (not in the grass where they used to be.)
