This weekend, the new wide open kitchen has taken shape. It will still be larger, but the floor still needs to be built up (it will extend out more from the bottom of the picture). And we will have an island in the middle too (kinda where I am 'working'). Daddy and Pa Pete, along with the help of Uncle Paul worked on the kitchen area most of the weekend and were very pleased with the progress made.
Em's new cruiser. Mommy wasn't thrilled about getting her a walker, but now she can be mobile without putting EVERYTHING in her mouth - and believe me there is plenty for her to put in her mouth! After looking at the wheels of the walker, mommy is glad she put shoes on Em or her socks would have been black!
I worked really hard on this piece of wood most of Sunday morning, can't you tell?
