In June at the God's Portion Day Auction for our church, we bought tickets to a Quincy Gems baseball game (Collegiate League). The tickets were for a community box (which means a deck with plastic white chairs instead of bleacher seats!) Several people came with us, since we had 12 tickets, and it was a good time. It ended up being a double-header (two-7 inning games) beginning at 5 PM and I still wasn't asleep by the time we pulled in the driveway at 11:15 PM! I really enjoyed watching the players warm up in the area by our seats.
It was also a sad night, as mommy's camera officially bit the dust! It had been breaking piece by piece (literally) for months before and mommy was worried she wouldn't have a camera for baby sister's arrival. Not to worry, as mommy ordered a new camera this week and it was delivered yesterday. Mommy can resume her non-stop photo taking now.
