Emma is one week old today! We have all made it through the first week successfully - mommy says these days success is defined by how much baby sister is growing, pooping & peeing - and I am happy to report all is going well.
Emma had her first well baby check-up yesterday and she weighed 7 lbs, 10 oz and was 20" long. The dr. couldn't believe how much she had grown since being discharged on Saturday (she weighed 6 lbs, 15 oz) - she is definitely being fed well!
I am adjusting to having Emma around. I help mommy with all sorts of things - changing Emma's diapers, getting her dressed, giving her a bath...I still insist that Emma should be able to get down on the floor and play with me.

Grady is probably getting tired of being responsible for all this blogging...when will Emma start taking her turn????!!? ha! what a cute little family!
