Today we went to watch Cousin David's junior high sectional baseball game. Mommy warned us it would be a 2 hour ride and packed books, snacks and the iPad to keep us occupied.
Once we got to the field, we were able to play in the dirt and would have played longer if allowed.

But the game was over in 5 innings by the 10 run rule (normal game is 7 innings). With this win, it means the Cardinals will head to state next weekend - how exciting! It has been over 15 years since a Cardinal team has won the regional championship and no Cardinal team has went to state in junior high baseball - quite an accomplishment and they aren't done yet!
