Road Trip!

Enjoying a styrofoam cup at the visitation...it was empty.

Hanging out in the car with mommy at the cemetery.

At the funeral dinner, Miss E talked Grandma Lisa into letting her "play" with the phone (her hair is pulled back, it didn't get cut off)
On Sunday and Monday, mommy and Miss E took a road trip to DeKalb with Grandma Lisa and Grandpa Cary - for our Great-Great Grandma Steimel's visitation and funeral. You read that correctly - even though we didn't ever meet her, we think it is pretty cool that we had a great-great grandmother and that mommy had a great grandmother!  She lived to be 98 years old - wow!

Mommy said that Miss E did really well - sleeping the entire trip there and back, behaved at the visitation, made some friends, was quiet during the rosary AND the mass, and even slept decently in the same bed as mommy.  I was REALLY glad when they pulled in the driveaway.  I kept asking when mommy and Em were coming home and where they went and why...over and over again.
