Over Thanksgiving weekend, we had a TON of help on the new house. Not so sure that it was the top choice for how to spend your Thanksgiving break, but no one complained too much!
The remainder of the walls (thanks to Grandma Lisa and Aunt Courtney) and the ceilings (thanks to tall Uncle Caleb) were painted - no more pink walls or ceilings!!
While mommy and daddy were in Florida, Pa Pete tore up all the carpet (since we are re-finishing the original hard wood floors). The only room that needed new hard wood flooring was the kitchen (it was previously linoleum) and with all of the extra help (led by Uncle Paul and Pa Pete), the new hard wood flooring was completed.
Uncle Caleb and Cousin David started and laid the majority of the tiles in the laundry room - Pa Pete and Steve finished the job.
Mommy did odd jobs (painting trim, cutting in on corners, getting lunch) and we played with Aunt Lori.
Thanks again to all of our helpers - it was and is greatly appreciated!
