Baby sister is 15 inches long this week and weighs in at 2 1/2 lbs - her weight is comparable to a bag of flour. This week her lungs are capable of breathing air and she can open & shut her eyes too. Mommy says she can tell baby sister has grown quite a bit since the last update and she moves around quite a bit more too (not as much as me though-that's what mommy says)! At this week's check-up, mommy had to chug the sugary orange soda - for the gestational diabetes test. I have seen that jar of orange drink in the refrigerator for the last couple of weeks and it has been very tempting to grab it for a quick drink :) She passed the test with flying colors!
Everything else checked out well at the dr. appt. - baby sister's heartbeat was 150 bpm. Mommy starts her 2 week check-ups now until 36 weeks and then she goes every week until baby sister arrives.

Congrats Lindsey! I didnt' realize it was a girl!!! Whoohooo - she will be so fun to have around. I am glad all is going well. Dana and Lamar
