Since I will be a big brother in July, mommy thought I should provide some updates on my baby brother/sister to keep everyone in the loop. Right now, mommy is 12 weeks. This week, the baby has reflexes! He/she can respond to mommy's movements, but the baby is still too small for mommy to feel any baby movements. The baby is just over 2 inches (about the size of a lime) and weighs in at half an ounce.
Mommy went to the dr. this week and got to hear the baby's heartbeat. He/she was a bit shy at first, but then the dr. said the heartbeat was a strong 160 bpm. Just like mommy did for me, she is taking photos after each dr. appt. to measure her belly growth.
