In the last post, I mentioned that daddy had a mishap with the mower...well, this was a picture of daddy last Monday night after he went to the doctor and found out he had an infection...pretty swollen face, huh?
Well, on Wednesday morning, his face was a little better thanks to the antibiotics, but not how it should be, so Nanny Patty took him back to the doctor and they took an x-ray...guess what was in daddy's face? A piece of metal!!!
This picture is the metal removed from daddy's face - it is over 3 cm long! Daddy had surgery this morning to remove it - the surgeon said it was tricky to remove, but he got it all.
Daddy is recovering at home today with mommy and me. He has a small incision and 3 stitches. Mommy can remove the bandage tomorrow and he goes back on Tuesday for a re-check. Guess he will need to get some protective gear to wear the next time he mows! Thanks for everyone checking in with us throughout the week and today!!
