Mommy says two of her favorite times in the fall (now that Emma & I have come along) are pumpkin patch visits and harvest time. I was SO EXCITED when I found out we would be riding in the combine with Grandpa Cary tonight - I have been asking about riding in the combine for the past few weeks when we head out to Grandpa Cary & Grandma Lisa's house...mommy said when the corn wasn't green anymore that it would be time to combine, well, it hasn't been green for a couple of weeks and Grandpa's combine still wasn't in the field, until today.
I made sure that mommy and Emma came along too, and of course mommy had to bring the camera to document the occasion-Emma's first combine ride! We rode for a few rounds - almost 90 minutes before we headed back to the house for dinner. Mommy was surprised Emma lasted that long and I probably could have rode a few more rounds with Grandpa. Maybe I will get to ride along again before the end of the season?! Too bad my show and tell day was today - but I will definitely still tell my teachers about my combine ride at school tomorrow!
