Looking from the dining room into the kitchen.
The kitchen (on the other side of the walls will be a hallway, leading into the laundry room).
Another view of the kitchen...the right wall will be a permanent wall with a door-leading out to the back patio (patio yet to be completed).
Discussing the front porch issue with Pa Pete. Apparently the previous homeowners did not want this step to be removed...it is made of granite! Grandpa Cary & Uncle Logan worked on it with the jackhammer and this is how far they got. I think we will just build the front porch OVER the steps.

Are you living through/in the construction or moved out until it is over? Very exciting - can't wait to see the finished product, as I'm sure you are too!
