Miss E is 4 months old and this week she will celebrate her first Thanksgiving-gobble gobble! She went for her 4 month well baby check-up and everything checked out well. The doctor even commented on how well she is holding her head up and happy and content she is (the happy and content part is true unless she is hungry!). She does really well in the Bumbo seat and on her stomach. She is also starting to grasp the toys that I hand her/shove in her face. She also thinks I am a pretty funny guy, which is a good thing.
At 4 months old, she
- weighs 13 lbs, 2 oz (50th percentile)
- is 24 1/4" long (50th percentile)
- still wears 3-6 month clothes, but is starting to wear some 6 month clothes
- still wears size 1-2 diapers
- does NOT sleep through the night-she goes to bed around 9 or 10 PM and wakes up around 2 or 3 AM
- can start solid food now - up to 3 meals a day. She has been eating cereal at night since she was 3 months old, but wasn't really fond of it at first.
- is such a joy to be around - cooing and talking, with her bright blue eyes wide open all the time.

Riley was 21 pounds 4 ounces at his four month check up! Size 3 diapers and 9 month clothing...probably will be in 12 month clothing soon! He also does NOT sleep through the night. In bed by 8:00 pm, but gets up anytime after 3:00 to eat. I'm pooped!
