Week 20 Baby Update

Week 20

Mommy has reached the halfway point - 20 more weeks to go! For those that missed the earlier post this week, mommy and daddy got to see some cool pictures and live footage of the baby and they found out it was a girl-so I will have a baby sister! During the ultrasound, my sister didn't hold very still-she was always moving, which made it hard for some good photos, but she eventually cooperated.

This week she weighs in at 3/4 lb. and is about the length of a banana. The ultrasound tech said the baby was measuring 'on the larger side' at the 62nd percentile, which means she might be as big as me when she is born - 8 lbs. Mommy can feel her moving around from time to time too-she says soon I will be able to see and feel my baby sister moving around.

And some other excitement, cousin Katie had another little girl this week - Olivia. So my baby sister and Olivia will only be 4 months apart-how fun!
